Derrick: I've played music for the better part of my life, mostly blues. I listen to a lot of jazz but only made a real attempt too seriously play jazz for the last five or six years. I trained Martial Arts of and on starting when I was ten years old and pretty much gave it up at the age of forty-five to make a more serious attempt with my music career. I love all styles of music and blend everything I hear into my music. I love Asian culture and have spent time in Thailand, China and Japan. I grew up mostly In the San Francisco Bay Area and now reside in Sweden.
